This tutorial applies to all Android phones you can anytime find. Normally, your phone automatically detects your adopted SIM and automatically configures the internet settings for your SIM.
To successfully set up the internet connection setting of your Android phone, you must understand these things: Turn Data connection on: Scroll down your notification bar by swiping vertically downwards from the top of your phone to the screen. You will see the Data connection icon, tap it to turn it on when the icon colour turn light blue.
You should be able to see your the internet send/receive icon beside your network bar after some few seconds. The "H" alphabet represents 3.5G network; 3G is for 3G; EDGE is for 2G and G is for GPRS.
How to set up Android Internet connection Set your preferred SIM: After turning your data connection on, your device should be able to connect to the internet only if your phone is dual SIM should you consider this necessary step also.
If your phone is dual SIM, you certainly wants to connect to the internet with only one SIM and of course your phone can not connect to the internet with 2 SIMs at a time. So we shall call your browsing SIM card your preferred SIM.
To set your phone to connect to the internet with your preferred SIM is pretty simple. Simply go to Settings — > SIM Management (Under Wireless connection) then tap Data connection to set your preferred SIM as default for data connection. I advise you to place your preferred SIM in SIM 1 slot for fastest internet connection.
